Dan has over twenty-five years of industry expertise across a wide variety of vertical markets and disciplines in commercial and light industrial building markets. In addition to his role at Thrive he is President and CEO of Aircuity, Inc. Previously Dan led business development at Lutron Electronics, was a partner for six years with Synergy and spent 11 years at Johnson Controls, Inc.

Walt is an experienced professional in the building controls industry. He prides himself on developing relationships with his clients and planning projects to help them meet their energy and healthy building targets. Walt also stays current with utility rebates offered and financing options to ensure each project is executed with the financial structure best suited for the customer.

Joe has over 25 years of accounting and finance leadership experience. He is Thrive’s Chief Accounting Officer in addition to holding the position of CAO with Aircuity.

Sarah has over 20 years of experience in the field of marketing and holds a bachelors degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Bryant University.

Patrick currently serves as the Director of Life Science Solutions. Prior to joining Thrive and Aircuity, Pat has held leadership roles across a number of SaaS, Cleantech and Cybersecurity technology companies. Pat holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova and an MBA from Saint Joseph’s University.

Tom has 25+ years of experience in the building industry focused on systems serving commercial and government facilities. He also has wide-ranging entrepreneurial experience in the commercial construction field as a prior founder and president of two technology related companies.

With over 30 years of controls experience, Jay’s expertise ranges from chemical process control to designing and selling HVAC and control systems.

He holds a BS Chemical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

Over his tenure with Thrive, Shea has held several positions including Project Engineer, Project Manager, and Operations Manager. Through his experience in these roles, he has developed expertise in both the technical and operational execution of laboratory and office retrofits, with a specific focus on airside efficiency.

Shea currently serves as Thrive’s Product Manager, focusing on developing and expanding ThriveIQ’s managed service offerings.

He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina’s Honors College with a BS in Mechanical Engineering.

Jamie is Chairman of the Board at Thrive Buildings and serves as Chairman and Managing Partner of Source2, a firm he co-founded in 2006 to build technology-enabled service businesses in the clean energy sector. Through Source2, he has helped grow a portfolio of companies spanning HVAC energy efficiency, industrial predictive maintenance, green design and construction software, and clean power electronics. Previously, Jamie was a founding partner of Boston Ventures and has long been active in nonprofit, education, and conservation initiatives.

James Rosenfield is a Senior Advisor at S&P Global and Co-Founder of Cambridge Energy Research Associates (CERA), now part of IHS Markit. He is the creator and Co-Chairman of CERAWeek, the world’s leading international energy conference, and has led major global energy initiatives shaping energy markets, technology, and climate dialogue for over three decades. Mr. Rosenfield is also active in clean energy and technology leadership, serving on multiple boards, and holds degrees from Harvard College and Boston University.

Joyce is a strategic CFO, business advisor, and executive coach with more than 35 years of experience supporting entrepreneurs and leaders in the green energy, sustainability, and impact sectors. She has built or scaled over 30 emerging businesses, coached more than 50 CEOs, and brings deep expertise in capital sourcing and structuring across project finance, venture, private equity, and family offices. Joyce is passionate about helping leaders align financial strategy, growth, and mission—especially during periods of transition.
